I was born and raised in a prairie province of Western Canada. There were no ocean or mountain vistas to jump out at me so I think growing up there helped teach me to look at things in a different way, to look for interesting expressions, situations, shapes, patterns, colours, and shadows. These elements can be found anywhere and everywhere: in people, buildings, plants, and just about anything that can cast a shadow. And the more photos I take, the more I see.
